The Fall Fundraiser was a fun event for Howard students to meet up with friends and family. The festival was held from 12pm - 4pm on the football field on September 18th. There were booths from clubs with fun games, music and other cool activities. The BSU club had a fun ring toss, Make A Wish Club supplied a huge tic-tac-toe board to compete for candy, Best Buddies presided over a lucky duck/dolphin toss game, and the Class of 2024 had a spinning wheel for prizes.
Howard class of 2024 president Chikamara Obioha. stated,“It was stressful and hectic with the preparation, but it was more for the positive outcome.” This festival’s goal was to fund Howard’s homecoming and raise money for its clubs. 80% of the profit goes to clubs while the other 20% goes to the student council. In total the fall festival profits surpassed expectations, and the class of ‘24 received over $500 to help with the homecoming budget.. This social event was also created for “people to hangout with friends from school, but not while not in school.” This was an exciting event no lion should’ve missed!
